Cumberland The Cumberland Police Department is adding a motorcycle to its fleet this spring. Patrolman Loren Hansford will become the agency's first motorcycle officer, likely beginning regular patrols on the 2009 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide in April.

A Jacksonville man was killed yesterday evening when a van struck his Harley-Davidson. David G, Jenkins, 56, was traveling eastbound on SR-134 near SR-21 at 6 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol reported, when he attempted to make a left turn onto SR-21. FHP said Jenkins, who was not wearing a helmet, turned into the path of a Chevrolet van driven by Horatio G. George, 63, of Jacksonville. ...
